There are now CC  panels and promotions for just about everything that has any trace of geekdom following, and even some things that don’t (2012 was there!). What you consider the most interesting talks obviously has to do with what you’re a fan of. But the most generally noteworthy appearances this year were probably:

• Friday’s heavyweight James Cameron / Peter Jackson conference on the future of film, with each citing the other as a key influence and inspiration, and both agreeing that the industry is lagging behind on 3-D adoption. This panel can be watched here in five parts.
• The reveal of unseen Avatar footage, which was said to be mind-blowing.
• Saturday’s Iron Man 2 panel featuring director Jon Favreau, Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, and Sam Rockwell. Part 1 of 3 here. There was also a teaser trailer.
• The visually promising teaser for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland:

• Other trailers and clips galore (District 9, Where the Wild Things Are, Tron Legacy, New Moon) from Trailer Addict
• The Onion AV Club provided some excellent blog coverage of the daily events.

And last but not least, our own Barty was on the scene and grabbed some excellent shots of the action.
