KISS and inspiration

In my cubicle at work, among the other knick-knacks and nerdery, there is an album, KISS Destroyer. Now, I haven't been a fan of KISS since I was in second grade and all the other boys were fighting over who got to play Gene Simmons at recess, but the album is relevant nonetheless, and here's why.
It reminds me of a story a pal of mine once told me, of how KISS, during their "down years" in the early 90s, when the makeup was off and they weren't doing anything all that special, they were in a concert that this pal of mine happened to attend.
Anyway, at this show nothing went right. The mixing was horrible, the lighting was all messed up, all the pyros they wanted to go off didn't go off - it was a huge clusterfuck, if you'll pardon the expression. During this whole time, there he was, PAUL FRICKIN' STANLEY, rocking his ever lovin' ass off, trying to squeeze the best show he possibly could out of the shitty circumstances they found himself in. He didn't really care that this was some 2nd tier city and the crowd was half there at best; he was gonna perform as if he were playing a sellout crowd in stadium. Meanwhile, next to him, Gene Simmons was slogging through his crap as if he needed a few more cups of Folgiers to abate his hangover. But not Paul Stanley! He was going apeshit.
The good news, though, is, that finally, FINALLY, at the end of their set, the pyros finally started to work. So they shot THE ENTIRE SHOWS WORTH OF PYROS AT ONCE. Think of the end of a huge fireworks display, except there's a huge statue of liberty giving you the bird, and you'll have a picture.
Of course, the crowd went nuts. But not half as much as PAUL FRICKIN' STANELY. He was having a coronary he was so excited. Finally, he yelled out the words I want you to ponder.
Paul Stanley said this: "NEVER!!!! STOP!!! ROOOOOCKKKIINNG!!!!"
So, please. Never stop rocking. There's a totally apeshit fantastico pyro orgasm coming down the pipe for you too.
